Under the theme Urban, the project Individualism, morality and hypocrisy was the very first project that defines a sense of story-telling with the aim to engage observers in cogitating while having their emotion provoked. It was displayed as a part of the graduation exhibition at Nottingham Trent International College.
Besides the main piece of the installation being a white Victorian-inspired corset dress, the setting of the installation also included features of visual - printed acetate on OHP; scent - lavender oil and music - by Michael William Balfe and Edward Elgar. All of those features were carefully picked for having distinct association with the Victorian era.
During the exhibition, the white dress was used as a blank canvas for the audiences to examine the art of William Morris, Augustus Egg and James Collinson of Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood, as well as, the poems by George Eliot and Coventry Patmore.
