During the exchange program at Kyoto University of Art and Design, my first fashion collection On those rice terraces was created as a personal interpretation of the theme Border. I chose to explore the curved contours of Asian rice terraces.
By looking into such picturesque sceneries that nature has to offer, the project carried on to the story of ethnic women living in this mountainous area of Vietnam specifically. It followed an outsider perspective on those women's lives, the stories about their families and their own yearnings.

Two photoshoots were taken at Kyoto University of Art and Design, with four models to build up a story of different identities.
